VOLOG!

Tried to make it look as "old timey" as possible.
I need to make a better sketch.
One that makes him look more vicious.

The Clockwork of Stars

By Jake Jones

If there is a grand scheme, who planned it?

If there is a big picture, who is the artist?

The question of how we came to be has always been debated between science and religion. The question of why we came to be however, is nothing more than odds and statistics to the scientific mind. For those of you, like myself, who know that there is some higher power, I ask you this: “Did God create man because he had to, because he wanted to, or because he could?” I ask this question not to be controversial. It’s a question for you to ask yourselves and others. Answer with which ever answer helps you be satisfied with your existence. I cannot be content with a universe that exists without reason. What sense of meaning, purpose, or belonging can anyone have if life is just a nanoscopic flaw in the celestial enigma?

The concerns of mere men have always outweighed the clockwork of stars.

In the day, we are always rushing to meet deadlines. We are so absorbed in a calendar that we follow without question; a clock that we always watch. We are prisoners of a timeframe constructed by our own hands. We run around in circles on a spinning globe, completing laps around the sun, oblivious to the clockwork. At night, we look up at the stars that remind us of how small we are. We fail to realize the eternal waltz between night and day. The light chasing the dark, and the dark chasing the light. Wheels eternally turning.

There is no luck, there is no coincidence, and there is no chance. There is synchronicity. Everything has a architectonic purpose, Every action has reason and design.

Every time you encounter that feeling of déjà vu, every time history repeats itself, every time you might look upon something as coincidence, don’t ignore it, don’t hold it in the light of skepticism and disregard. If you so choose to see it, your perception will change and your eyes will see the strings that are interwoven in a sentient tapestry. If you think that it is by chance that we are here, how important does your life seem if you believe the human mind is the progress of evolutionary backwash of a microbial deformity? The only way to become self aware is the realization of a universe with design and purpose and finding out how you fit between the cogs.

The Mayans left us with many questions and a calendar that ends December 21st, 2012. They were unable to prevent their own apocalypse. How would we be any different? Because we’re smarter or are we more gullible? The Mayans are gone and their calendar is one of a multitude that looms over our heads; casting a shadow of twisted words over the foolish. Nostradamus is dead yet his predictions are the vanguard of the paranoid masses. Take a step back and look at what darkness does to delight.

How many times has a prophecy gone unfulfilled? How many predictions left those who stockpiled in anticipation disappointed with the mercy of the cosmos and the hands of fate? Why do we choose to believe the universe is counting down when so few of us know how it ticks?

Let the world end, and ask yourself this:

“If Armageddon comes and no one is left to hear it, does it make a sound?”

Emotions blind logic. Logic corrodes belief. Beliefs are the byproduct of truth. And the truth shall incite emotion.

Clockwork. Synchronicity. Infinity.

Stop looking down. Look up.

Looking down gets you nowhere, looking forward only brings you closer to the end.

LATVIA, YOU CRAZY!

Here we go folks.
Latvia has sunk to a new low,
 into a crater-sized hole
that they dug in a pitiful PR hoax
... BY A TELEPHONE COMPANY!
"Raising the bar," my ass! Is there no othere way to get attention these days without some kind of hoax?! Latvia, I'm so disappointed in you. It's not like America would stumble to this deep of a crater...

God dammit...
Why is it that when we want to have the spotlight, we- Oh wait, that's not a spotlight!
 IT'S A TRACTOR BEAM!
See what I mean? It's always the same with hoaxes. Ghosts are too old and vampires have been sucked dry. But ET never loses his charm. Do these people make these elaborate hoaxes because they know people will fall for it, or because they themselves believe? Or is it some twisted hybrid of the two?
Keep Watching the skies.

CRIKEY!

Well, of all the places I expected The Four Horsemen to strike first. Australia  was way down at the bottom.

BEFORE

AFTER
I mean, BEFORE it looked like a weird building. But AFTER looks like something off the surface of mars. but the buildings on mars are much more achitectually sound.

I rest my own case.

Well, tough luck Australia. But you know what they say;
"What comes around, goes around"
Much like your stupid boomerangs.
I say g'day to you!
